Paul Devro

Paul Devro

Raised in the small mill town of Port Alberni, BC, Paul Devro started djing at the young age of 16. Honing his skills in his basement, he didn't start playing out professionally until he moved to Vancouver at age 22, where he quickly rose up the dj ranks in the city. By 2008 he had held 5 simultaneous residencies at 5 very different clubs, and came 2nd in the Vancouver Redbull 3style competition only losing to a national turntable champion. Through this time he became close friends with Diplo who set him up on his first European tour, on which he has since toured everywhere from Europe, Brazil, Asia and America.

He has been invited to India on two occasions to dj and teach less fortunate children of Mumbai music production and djing. In 2009 he moved to the USA to take on a more serious role at Mad Decent where he is now the creative director for Mad Decent and the label manager for Jeffree's, Mad Decent's side label. He's responsible for signing such hits as Baauer's "Harlem Shake", DJ Snake's "Bird Machine" and rising RnB star LIZ. Paul is a man who wears many hats but is always in his element sharing the most forward thinking music via his djing or signings.
